South African Airways provides the only non-stop flights from the U.S. to South Africa exclusively on Boeing 747-400s, one of the most modern aircraft in the skies.

The carrier offers daily service from Atlanta to South Africa and departures five days a week from New York's JFK International Airport to Johannesburg, with daily service to be in effect as of December 1, 2002. The airline will be launching non-stop service from New York to Dakar on January 8, 2003.

All South African Airways flights from the U.S. feature the carrier's new Millennium product, offering passengers in First Class, Business Class and Economy Class a new interior including enhanced seat recline (with lie-flat beds in First Class), larger private television screens; a wide variety of fine cuisine and selection of first-rate South African wines; and Rockwell Collins Passport™ audio-and-video-on-demand in all classes.
